What Makes Jibe Different

Kids come to Jibe to learn to dance, but somewhere along the way, a lot more happens. They find teachers who know them, friends who cheer for them, opportunities that challenge them and a place where they can become more confident in who they are.
They grow from the little dancer watching the big kids through the window into the big kid someone else is watching. And through all those years of classes, shows, friendships, hard work and fun, Jibe becomes more than somewhere they go each week. It becomes part of growing up.

our story
From 20 Students to Over 20 Years of Jibe
Jibe started in the summer of 2006 with 20 dancers, two young teachers and a dream. We wanted to create a place where dancers could learn, laugh, make friends and grow into great dancers and even better humans.
Those first 20 dancers quickly wanted more. More classes. More time together. More Jibe. So we started looking for a studio and somehow convinced someone to rent a space to two girls with very little business experience and a whole lot of ideas. And from there, Jibe just grew.
We didn't set out to build the biggest dance studio. We fell in love with the community growing inside of it. We watched dancers become best friendships. We watched shy kids find their confidence. We watched dancers learn to work hard, show up for each other and become incredible humans. We watched parents become friends, siblings grow up in the studio, and former students come back years later and still call Jibe home.
Twenty years later, that is still the part we love most.
We love dance. We love teaching. We love creating ridiculous shows and unforgettable experiences. But more than anything, we love our students and the families who trust us to be a small part of their lives.
Jibe has grown and changed a lot since those first 20 dancers walked through the door. But what we're building here never has.
It's a dance studio, yes. But to us, it's family.
